National Aboriginal Day

PINTER joins our colleagues, clients, friends, and family in celebrating National Aboriginal Day.

PINTER Employees get their hands dirty!

PINTER employees were out once again this year (on May 26th) to get the PINTER Adopt a Plot Garden Patch ready for the 2016 growing season.  This is the second consectutive year that PINTER has committed to a tending a plot at the Saskatoon Food Band Downtown Garden patch.

We had a successful harvest last fall and are looking forward to this activity through 2016.

We'll be visiting the plot on a weekly basis to ensure that weeds don't take over.  Public "Weeding Wednesdays" are open to all if you want to stop by to say hi or volunteer to pull a couple weeds yourself.  Hope to see you out there!

Saskatchewan Public Works Association (SPWA) Railway Grade Crossing Workshop -- May 18th2016

In December 2014, Transport Canada published new regulations for all federally-regulated at-grade rail crossings.   The new rules impose new obligations on Municipalities, including a December 2016 deadline to submit data pertaining to the exiting crossings located within their jurisdiction.

This upcoming SPWA workshop will review the requirements and provide opportunities for discussion and analysis.

Spring Safety Awareness Workshop from PINTER & Associates Ltd.  – June 2016

This informative, interesting, and interactive 1-day seminar and workshop is designed to support Municipal Administrators in accomplishing their safety objectives.   Ideal for groups of 10 to 30 people, the content is organized into designated themes, to allow attendees to participate selectively in accordance with their availability and interests.

The seminar includes hands-on instruction, PowerPoint presentations, multi-media materials, and practical, real-world examples, culminating with a highly detailed tabletop exercise which simulates a typical safety meeting.

Special attention is directed towards workers to encourage self-initiated participation in future safety programs and activities, and awaken and cultivate a sense of self-interest in doing so.   Additionally, content is also provided to aid administrators in receiving support from decision makers and Council, and to encourage and foster a safety-conscious workplace culture.
